THIS IS a tip FOR ALL THE ROOKIES in drawing...STILL IN THE LEARNING PHASE:
if you think your art aint gud enuff and you need to improve...this is a simple way to go about...i havnt got the time to try much of this myself, but it duz work...a 101%...

All you need to do is get a print of someones work, even a comic book would do. And all you need to do is to start drawing the same image on your sheet and get that perfect replicate drawn. in this process, what ones actually trying to do is get his observation levels to the highest...coz right then, your trying to get a perfect copy done. for example, the characters eyes shud look the same way in your drawing (or almost the same)...u get the point, right? a strict 'DONT DO' would be to give up half way through...complete it and then compare afterwards. cos by then, youll notice the imperfections (and if you can, improvise).

so now youve observed and learnt a great deal about the detail the original artist has put into his work, youll capture his style if you keep trying to copy his pictures ONLY, and later youll get your own creativeness evoloving from within yourself...ther current wannabe manga artists have learnt on their first day of trial on how the eyes shud look like, so theres an example.

we never noticed what made us do art the first time we did it...but something triggered it. for the newer generation it might be a cartoon or a comic book but for the older gurus, it might have been a woman with a perfect body...just an example...try to dig me here.

so from a comparitive philosophical point of view: You read some shit on paper in college and memorize them to write it in an exam and win a degree, right? thats a sort of copy and paste as well. but that doesnt make you a successful professional unless you know how to execute what youve memorized perfectly...the word that would fit this context would be 'learn', LEARN from your copying i say...just dont do it cos you love the character or its body. if you as smart as you think you are, then you need no further lame explanations. bad-azz sez: time to implement!
